Seems like Basecamp 3 has a lot of of the missing features of base camp 2, but its missing the iPhone widget which makes it totally useless

So nice having push notifications, chat, and text formatting all in the mobile app now!

Im loving the new features available in the app. Upgrading is an excellent idea if you are still on Basecamp 2. 37Signals-please upgrade the icon so my kids dont want to use this app! Make it look professional.

Full disclosure: I work at Basecamp. Of course I use the app when I am out and about. But my favorite use is to keep my to-dos open along side my desktop in addition to the docs and campfires I am using on the desktop. This helps me stay focused. I also use the FIND feature on the app to pull up references and information I need when I am not at my desk. I rated it a 4 because I would like to see recurring event support added to this app and to the online version.

Weve been using a prior version very successfully for our team. Version 3.0.3 doesnt install.

Updated to new version today and formatting is all messed up, almost looks like Mobile website with blue links everywhere.

Base camp is a wonderful platform for group collaboration. Ive been testing out features Id like to see, and the first one I looked for was custom notifications, but I saw no notification options at all. Notifications for an app like this would be extremely beneficial, given that users using it are likely to need to answer questions in a timely manner from their teams. Id like to see customized (per event) notifications added to stay informed when not within the app and I think it would be pretty much perfect for my needs. The description says there are notifications, but they dont seem to be working, at least for me. Using an iPhone 6 Plus.

Fix the notifications issue and I will change to a 5-star. This is exactly what my team needs to function super efficiently.

I use Basecamp 3 for my personal and work to-do lists. I have many projects, to the point where using BC2 as intended would require me to spend well over $1,000 per month, which out of pocket would be too much. This version is certainly not cheap, but I really like being able to use it to the fullest for my personal and work to-dos, with unlimited projects, for a reasonable price, since I dont have anyone to split the cost with.

This last update will not install and is just a stuck in the installing phase

Still cant log in. Ridiculous given how much my company pays for this service.

I cant even sign in. Says it doesnt recognize my email.

I dont why everyone is complaining, I signed in fine. App works great, just like the site. A++

Great app but I cant believe their is no migration tool for 2 to 3.

I wish notifications about updates in campfires would go away after you review the content. Also when you write to a client, the same email you just wrote is automatically in the text box for the next email which is an idiotic bug - also why in the heck cant you open links in message threads in safari? iOS programming 101? hello?? as you say you get 10,000 new users per week and you cant afford to hire a competent iOS developer ? sad

That makes no sense! Just write a freaking email or a text someone this nonsense. God for bid you just call somebody on the phone. Micromanaging for the digital age. Yay. This app is slow, disorganized and crashes all the time. Really not sure why this app was created. Youll spend more time trying to figure this app out then just using your calendar on your phone.

Our company has been using Basecamp 3 for the past month and it is enhancing our productivity greatly. Cant wait to see how they update it as it is improved.
